In the framework of the international project Refresh+: “Young artists refreshing heritage sites and legends”, we are looking for insert number artists from insert country, 18-30 years old to become part of an international multidisciplinary team and participate in co-creation processes.
This call is for you if you are:
18-30 years old
student, recent graduate or in the early stage of your career;
active in the field of visual arts, including new media, film and video, performing arts, including music, dance, theatre and circus
interested in tangible and intangible cultural heritage
open minded and curious
willing to engage in co-creation processes, work interdisciplinary and in collaboration with others
have a good knowledge of English
Selected artists will:
Be part of the Refresh+ team throughout the project, working on innovative approaches to interpretation of heritage and legends
Participate, together with 13 other artists from Romania, Slovenia, Finland and Spain in the 5-day Bootcamp organized in Split (Croatia) in April 2021 (travel and accommodation costs covered)
Participate in the production week in Slovenia (October 2021) or Romania (February 2022) (travel, accommodation and production costs covered)
Be provided with coaching and mentorship during the whole process including the marketing training in Spain (June 2022)
Learn and develop co-creation strategies
Have their work presented and promoted internationally
Be part of the international network

About the project:
“Refresh Plus. Young artists refreshing heritage sites and legends” is a European project co-funded under the Creative Europe Culture Programme and coordinated by the Association of Historic Towns of Slovenia with the support of partners from Romania, Spain, Finland and Croatia. The main aim of this project is fostering capacities of the Cultural and Creative sector. The focus of the project is to contribute to guide the new generations of European artists in strengthening their capacities to get an independent international artistic career and market positioning.
